Fundraising helps us reach our goals.
In order to supplement educational programs and sponsor our many school events, the McKinley School PTA also runs spring fundraising programs. Our fundraising is a means to carry out our goals and work, so please support our efforts. By far our largest fundraiser is the McKinley Carnival held in April at Jennings Beach, but other programs are offered too.
McKinley Carnival (April 15-18, 2010)
Our biggest fundraiser, the McKinley Carnival is held in April for four days at Jennings Beach. Each year, we plan to raise approximately half of our PTA budget. So show your support and tell all your friends to attend. There are variety of rides, food and fun. It’s a wonderful family event that is open to the town of Fairfield and surrounding communities. This event needs many volunteers to help at the ticket booth and food stand. For more information, contact the Carnival Chairpeople, Domingo Thomas or Wes Greenop.
Mother’s Day Plant Sale (May 2010)
Just in time for Mother’s Day, the children can purchase beautiful annuals as a gift for mom or grandma. Order forms will be sent home inside your child’s Friday Folder. For more information, please contact Jill Kellerman.
