Lunch Payment System
The Fairfield Public Schools uses a point-of-sale lunch payment system. By depositing money in your child's account, your child can purchase hot lunch or milk and the cost is deducted from his/her account.
You may deposit money into your child's account in one of three ways:
- Send cash or a check payable to Fairfield School Lunch in an envelope addressed to Mrs. Pat Brienza, Cafeteria Manager. Make sure your child's name and class is included. There is no fee for this.
- Pay on-line via MealpayPlus. You must have your child's student ID number to use this service. If you do not know your child's student ID number, please call the Food & Nutrition Services Office at 255-8370. Please note: There are convenience fees when using MealpayPlus.
- You can call MealpayPlus toll free at 1-877-237-0946 and pay over the telephone.
Prices for 2009-2010: Hot Lunch $2.10 per day. Milk 40¢ per day. Breakfast $1.25 per day. Reduced Price Lunch is 40¢. Reduced Priced Breakfast is 30¢.
Free or Reduced-Price Lunches & Breakfasts
Applications for free or reduced-price lunches and breakfasts are available in the school's main office. Students that qualify for free or reduced-price lunches also qualify for free or reduced-price breakfasts.
