Absences & Cancellations
Reporting Your Child's Absence:
It's very important that the school is informed when your child will be absent.
Please call 255-8414 before 9:00 am on the day of your child's absence. After the recording, please leave your child's name, teacher and reason for absence.
School Cancellations:
To find out if school is cancelled go to Fairfield Public Schools. You can also call The Talkline at 255-TALK (8255) or listen to local radio stations WICC, 600AM and WEZN, 99.9FM for updates. Please do not call the school.
School Delays:
School will begin at 10:55 am or 2 hours later than the normal starting time. A delayed opening will cancel the morning Pre-K program.
Early Dismissals:
School will dismiss at 1:40 pm. Early Dismissal usually occurs after a 4 hour instructional day, but unusual conditions could dictate a different schedule. An early dismissal will cancel the afternoon Pre-K program.
School hours may change according to weather and/or safety conditions. Go to Fairfield Public Schools for any unanticipated cancellations, delays or early dismissals. School may also be dismissed early due to planned professional faculty meetings. Be sure to check your child's Friday Folder for any planned schedule changes.
